Third Annual Boise Pride Interfaith Service

We Belong: Third Annual Boise Pride Interfaith Service

Boise faith communities & clergy will come together to celebrate community, connection, and belonging with their third annual Multifaith Pride Worship Service on Sunday, September 7 at 9:00 a.m. at Ann Morrison Park (in front of the Mainstage on the Americana Street side). This inclusive service brings together people of all faiths and no faith to honor the diversity of our community through music, blessings, and meaningful rituals of release and belonging.

The service provides a space to recognize our inherent worth, acknowledge the harm caused by some faith traditions, and offer connection, joy, and healing. Following the service, all participants are invited to join other faith communities in the Pride Parade, marching together in celebration and solidarity.

A highlight of the morning will be a reading of a children’s book by Sarah Inama, a West Ada County school teacher who gained national attention for standing firm in support of an “Everyone is Welcome” sign at her school.

For those unable to attend at the park, additional Pride worship opportunities include:

Collister United Methodist Church – Sunday, 10:30 a.m.

Southminster Presbyterian Church – Saturday, 5:00 p.m.

All are welcome. Come as you are. Bring your whole self. You belong. 🌈

This service is made possible through the collaboration of diverse faith communities, including:

Methodists
Unitarian Universalists
United Church of Christ (UCC)
Mennonites
Presbyterians
Episcopalians
Jewish community (CABI)
Muslims
Satanist
Humanists, Atheists, Agnostics
